Flat Feet

Flat feet, or fallen arches, occur when the arches of the feet collapse, causing the entire sole to come into complete or near-complete contact with the ground.

While some people with flat feet experience no symptoms, others may develop pain, swelling, or discomfort in the feet, ankles, and lower legs, especially after prolonged standing or physical activity.

Flat feet can also lead to misalignment in the knees and hips, increasing the risk of further complications.

At NOVA Foot and Ankle Center, we provide expert diagnosis and customized treatment options, including orthotics and supportive footwear, to alleviate discomfort and improve foot function.
